Anyone think it may be a good idea to remove part of the engine cover that goes over the oil filter cover?I was wondering how many oil changes it would take before the cover bolts or threads are stripped out. Any ideas about this?

It's no cost & has everything you need to know about your particular Kia Vehicle. Other links are also available on the Tech Info site. Boxwrench |

The only issue I have is the removal of the aluminum compression ring around the oil pan bolt. It was not obvious how to remove the old one, so I didn't this time. Anyone know how? Peter |

| Does anyone have experience regarding what the average cost for the 30,000 maintenance is? Thanks. | |
