I agree the SVT MKZ, isn't out yet and can lay in the woods for now. It's still a couple of years away. You can feel free to talk about the SRT's, RS-4's, S6's, STS-V, just as long as they are performance enhanced at the factory. Thanx, Rocky |

Audi S8-Yes All Chevy's SS models- a HHR SS is more trim than engine isn't it ? But yeah I suppose Chevy SS could be included. What makes a factory tuned car IMHO is suspension, engine, brake, and in some cases interior upgrades. All Dodge's SRT models-Yes Mazda Mazdaspeed 3->yes Mazda Mazdaspeed 6->yes All MB's AMG sedans-> Yes Rocky |

Subaru STi vs 08' EVO-X ???? Who's going to win this tuner battle and why ???? Who wins ? powertrain ? technology ? reliabilty, etc ? Which car performs better on the track ? which car performs better on highway? Which car handles better, and can you prove it ? Which car wins the stop-light races ???? Which car gets the chic's (styling) Rocky

Replying to: rockylee (Jan 25, 2007 5:36 am) Who's going to win this tuner battle and why Historically speaking, the STi is always "purer" than the Evo without all the technology nannies. On the other hand, from numerous comparisons (especially the top gear), driving Evo is like playing a video game, one can drive it as aggressive as possible but the computer will sort everything out. To me I think it's a toss up. If you want full control, go with STi; a PS3/Xbox360 on wheels, then Evo. Which car gets the chic's (styling) Neither will get the "chicks" IMO (well, at least not my kind of chicks). The styling for both cars are too "ricey" for my taste so I would never consider these in any given time of my life. The chick-magnets in this group of cars are the M3 and CTS-V. Those 2 are aggressive in a subtle way but yet elegant. IS-F is close but lacks the "subtle" and "elegant" characteristics in my opinion (also too ricey). I think a regular IS body with a mild all around side-skirt, lower the suspension, 19" rims, fender vent like the M3's and the stacked quad-pipe will be better looking than the current IS-F. AMGs wouldn't be bad choices either if you are into 40-plus chicks (that's IMO of course). PS, If I offended any female members with this post I am sorry. Y'all can be angry at Rocky because he started it...
