Replying to: rockylee (Feb 24, 2007 9:14 pm) I agree 100%. A BMW with similar rated HP will always be faster than a Lexus. I suspect that's because BMW understates their HP.   BMW's are fantastic... I've had 2. I'll still take the Lexus, only because it's almost as good handling-wise, but comfortwise it wins... at least from a HP/Price/features perspective, and of course in my opinion, FWIW, probably not much. Just wondering if anyone out there owns a new s6...I am close to purchasing one, wanting to hear some feedback from others. Is it worth the extra 20k or so from the A6 4.2 s-line ? (realizing that yes, they are different vehicles)...thanks!

The Genesis, is getting Hyundai's first V8 called the TAU, and some are saying the company is looking at forced induction systems, etc. A Twin-Turbo system has been mentioned creating around 500 hp. So it is something that should be talked about as Hyundai, keeps progressing forward.   Rocky

Considering that the smaller engine in the Lexus LS460 produce 380 hp, the 5.0 liter engine in the IS-F could easily produce 450 hp without much of a sweat.
