| Honestly I know the infrastructure isnt there yet but there is a web page that lets consumers know state by state where to fill up on hydrogen for fuel cell cars - plus the city and towns that use it for there bus etc., if I remember right will let you fuel up at thier depots as well - so there is an infrastructure - I would love to see this get adopted and watch the reacton of the oil companies, the middle east and the corrupt politicians of the oil companies suddenly come up with reasons as to why it is unsafe - Honda I wish you all the best and give ethanol (over rated) a run for its money - besides saw grass produces more usable ethanol than corn but the farm lobby will never let that get out. | |

Essentially, it runs on natural gas. Hydrogen, is currently sourced from natural gas, which means, we are still consuming fossil fuels. I'm not convinced with hydrogen or electric vehicles, so long as conventional methods for producing the electricity are used. There are still emissions, they merely don't come out the tailpipe of the vehicle. Electrolysis of water, creates oxygen and hydrogen from water, but still depends on electricity. I am unfamiliar with the procedure that converts natural gas to hydrogen,as is currently used. Ultimately, our electric power needs to come from a clean source, such as wind and/or solar. |
