Replying to: kcram (Nov 13, 2006 6:40 pm) I purchased a 2006 Mark LT with only 13,000 miles on it(someone had just traded it in). Within about two weeks after purchase the brakes seemed bad. Drove to Utah and Vegas with the truck and on the downhills as I attempted to slow down the dam truck started to pull and shake really bad. I took it back to the Lincoln/Ford dealership I bought it from, they were going to charge me over a grand to fix them and whatever else was wrong. I didn't have to pay after all. Prior to my trip I received a letter from Lincoln about a safety recall with the brake system. Anywho, overall I am not completely satisfied with this truck. I guess the owner before me wasn't either.

Just wanted to share: I bought a 2006 Mark LT brand new in 4/06. Within the first year, through no fault of my own (that I'm aware of), the brake rotors warped - causing the vehicle to shimmy, vibrate, "hop" and surge & release while braking. It is particularly pronounced and violent at highway speed. Anyone else have/had this problem?
