I have a 1994 grand am v6 3.1 and every time i fill the gas tank up it leaks for a while so i am sure there is a leak on the top of the tank but does anyone have an idea on what it would cost to have the tank replaced or would it be cheaper to do it myself?

I would check to see if the filler hose, supply line, or return line is leaking first. That's more likely than a leak in the tank itself. Your not overfilling it, right?
