Noticed when i went to get my oil changed yesterday that the dealership was offering 1500 OFF MS3 thru the month of march. Had a nice red sport that stickered for just over 23K. was almost tempted to trade mine in right then and there.

OK, I just drove the base model cosmic blue speed3....now I have been driving an 06 Prius ( bi polar) for the past two years. This car scared me to death...I had alot of fun test driving it but I am a bit concerned about maintenance on a turbo charged car such as this. PLEASE give me some perspective....I know it is a different animal from the Prius. What kind of in town mileage can I expect....I cringe at putting premium fuel in this. Make me feel better about this prospect...I have no points..Is insurance high for what the car is rated? Any advise is welcome.

essentially the maintance is the same as a non turbo car...just change the oil on a regular basis and let he turbo unwind before shutting it off after a hard drive.

Have you done the math based on how many miles you drive? It's not as bad as folks think. The avg driver will spend $120-150 more per year to use premium...

You drive a Prius & are considering a MS3? Are you giving up hope of saving the planet? Maybe a republican will win the whitehouse again!!!!!

Hi there! i'm a brand-new member to this forum. i joined because i'm the proud owner of a new mazdaspeed 3. I have a quick Q: those of you who have added a cold-air intake, or know about these things, which is the model/type you would install? i thought about going w/ the mazdaspeed accessory, but thought i could do better on my own...
may thanx in advance, gaspo

I think it's pretty funny Gore's electric bill was like $30K last year, plus he flies around in all those private jets to tell us to stop polluting. As best as I can tell somebody like me that would only get on it 25 mpg in a 6speed MS3....
