Those are the pictures that I have seen for a while as well.

There is basically no power train differences, however, many new standard safety features will be added such as roll stability control, dynamic stability control, and traction control.

It still gives Mazda a good entry leval SUV that costs them basically nothing to make. They still need something below the $26,000 starting price of the CX-7, which is why they are continuing to make the Tribute.

- 6-speed automatic on both motors
- cruise control standard on all models/transmissions not just automatics
- ESP (sounds like they will add this one)
- fog lights on base model and projector halogen lights (not just reflector halogen lights)
- don't kill off the 5-speed!
- 5-speed manual V6 option.
- standard side airbags.

your going to get a few of your wishes...

traction control, dynamic stability control, roll stability control, side airbags and curtains will be standard on all models. Fog lights std on all models. They keep the 5 speed also, but 4cyl only. Cruise is std with a/t.
