I purchase my land rover for use off road and hope/know it will perform as expected. I am with you I use it in bad condition and what to know what to do when I get stuck. Replying to: yrbender (Nov 10, 2006 7:54 pm) No, I don't have a winch on my LR3 yet. I balked at the prices that the dealer was charging for a Warn winch through their parts department. I subscribe to LRM (Land Rove rMonthly) and they have tons of examples of winches that are much cheaper than the 4500 (CA$) they wanted plus installation. Replying to: dandrews1 (Nov 12, 2006 11:37 am) Yeah the Land Rover winch is really only worth it if you get it at delivery since it will carry the full 4 year 50,000 miles warranty then.
