Car and Driver tends to run fast because they rev the engine with the brake on and launch hard, so they are usually about 1/2 second faster than others. My new Edge makes a loud CLUNK in the front end when I go over speed humps (the bigger ones marked 20 miles per hour). Also a lot of little front end noise going over regular speed bumps and bumps in general. The dealer I bought the car from, Berge Ford in Mesa, Arizona is telling me it is a normal thing in this car??? I am 44 and have traded into a new car every 2 or three years since I was 25 and never had a vehicle, including many rentals, do this. Is anyone else having this problem???
