Technical Service Bulletins---Which are sent to the dealers so the mechanics know what to look for with certain problems with the vehicles. When a customer has a complaint and the mechanics can't fix it, they are suppose to check and see if there is a TSB for that problem or at least the service manager should. There are too many of them that don't care or can't read and this is hurting the manufacturers more then anything. Too many bad dealerships and sloppy repairs.

Larry, if you still check these forums I'd like to know what your resolution was. I also have an '06 3.5L Charger now with 47k miles. The same problem (wouldn't advance beyond 2nd gear and no autostick capability) just happened to me about an hour ago. I've since dropped it off at the shop but am fearing a blown transmission.

I have the same problem with my 07, when I picked it up from the dealership I stopped to get gas, after filling up, I started the car, put it into drive gave it some gas and it shutter and/or shudder, it wasnt good. The next time it did it I was backing out of the driveway, stop put it in drive there it wasagain. I drove it to the dealer, tech had it for a day, he gave up and called Starline support, they informed him Chrysler is aware of concern and are working on fix. Tech assured me Chrysler would take care of it once there was a fix. I stopped several time asking if there was a fix yet? Was told no that was over a year ago, now I have 74,000 miles on the car and it still does, with the brake on if I dont pause for a couple of seconds beware give it the gas. Sucks if I'm backing up on to a busy street and I have to pause to give it the gas. Because of the miles I'm sure Starline will say Tuff Shit!

Did you finally fix your shudder on your charger and what was the issued?
I have a 2008 and it kicks from 1 to 2.
