Lexus LS 460 Instruments

The new 2007 LS460 has a multi-information display that sends you text messages for a variety of items when a master warning light activates. I can not find any listing of these items in the owners manual or what is monitored or what things activate the master warning light.Queries to Lexus have not been successful. Of note-there is no low oil pressure light and there is no transmission dip stick. The Canadian Lexus website says oil pressure and oil level are monitored but does not say how.
If anyone knows the answers please post or provide a location we can look up. I suspect there is a large amount of monitoring points.

Of note-there is no low oil pressure light and there is no transmission dip stick. I've not found a transmission dipstick on my 05 either....figure it's "sealed for life", and I believe the books says so.

The normal car is huge! The bigger version is really huge! The drive is very nice! It feels like a smaller sports sedan... the luxury and feel of the car is great! I was impressed!!!! The information center uses high rez graphic elements for mpg, tire pressure monitor and more... really nice! When you sit down you see lots of buttons... a little confusing at first!LS Test Drive Video/Photos and more
