I guess you haven't tried searching LA Craigslist for "Phill" yet.

I responded via the craiglist email about the phill. Are you still willing to sell your phill to me?

Glad you were able to get a great deal on the Phill unit J.L..
I live in Cerritos, can I come over sometime to get the good rate for an overnite Phill when you get it set up. : )
I have been reading a lot of your helpful posts on this forum about filling up around the Long Beach area. I normally use the facility on Mulberry in SFS (near my work) but the price is $2.64. I have been also using the one in the Gas Co on Rosemead in Pico but today it was $2.45. Neither seem to give me a complete fill (only around 3200 psi at best)
Where around us do you get the best fill and value?

Matt: I usually get fuel at C.E. in Carson or downtown L.A.
High pressure, high reliability and high price. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
Very rare for a C.E. station to be inoperative or have low pressure.
Sign up on CNGCHAT.COM and send a pm. I will let you know when I get it hooked up and running.
#76 of 91 Price of 2008 Civic GX in Southern California
Mar 25, 2008 (11:36 am)
I paid $24,500 for my 2008 Civic GX at Scott Robinson Honda of Torrance. I called all 14-15 Honda dealers in So Cal that carried the Civic GX and all exept Scott Robinson insisted they wanted the full MSRP of $25,225 and would not budge. Naturally, given a choice, a chose to pay less. I am very happy with the '08 Civic GX...and it looks like between the federal tax credit of $4000 and the CA driving alternatives rebate of $3000 (they're out of money now), the price is about what a regular Civic would have cost.

I recently bought a used gx in Utah and it will not pass emissions. We decided to probably buy a new one when we go out to the SF bay area in August. Looking at the Honda site it ways they are in stock at certain dealers. Those of you who have bought the 2008, are they in stock (where), and how much have you paid?

I purchased my 2007 GX in Aug 2007. I tried about 5 dealers in the Bay Area and received the best customer service from Manly Honda in Santa Rosa. The dealer is about an hour away from me but they gave me the best deal. I also go to them for all of my maintenance checks. it's worth the drive.

Thanks for the reply. After getting no response from 4 dealers out there, a "sorry but we are sold out and we don't know when we are getting any in" from another, and a quote $4,000 over MSRP from another, we decided to get the old one worked on and it passed emissions. Meanwhile, Utah now has a dealer that has begun to sell the GXs here and we are on the waiting list for another GX in Feb to April of '09. I'll make a note of Santa Rosa though just in case something happens while we are out there and we need the car worked on. Thanks again!
