That's the way it is , unless you have some very worn tires from mis-alignment ,and that's not likely.(my 01 civic is close to 76K on original tires). Undercoating ? A real waste of money , very unlikely to reduce the noise. and can void the corrosion warranty. Just my $ .02 worth. Replying to: lakewood90712 (Apr 07, 2006 4:09 pm) The CIVIC is simply noisier than other cars. That is why the dealer will direct you to drive the car before making a deal. Undercoating should not be applied! The Honda body repair service manual should be followed for body sealers and corrosion protection.

Replying to: lakewood90712 (Apr 07, 2006 4:09 pm) You can always have sound deadening material put under the carpet in the floorboard and in the doors. I had that done in my last car (an Infiniti), and it made the car practically silent. It cost about $1200 for labor and materials to have the doors, floor and hood done using a product like Dynamat. I think they sell kits that you can do yourself, like a spraypaint-like substance that you spray on the inside of the wheel wells.
