Hey NASDACYC Definitely do not give in to the NOrcal Dealers Until you get it close to 28,000! i got a fully loaded 4wd XLS for 28,000 flat. You gotta play hard ball. Veracom and Serramonte refused to go under 28,400. Steven's Creek and Capitol (OWNED by same dude and share inventory)are the volume dealers and that who i got down to 28,000 flat. East Bay mitsubishi is in the equation too, but they were a little more deceptive in the pricing they gave me. Just call around and have them beat each other, but you have to be ready to buy because when you are at 28,300 or 28,500 >> I love using the power of "hey if you give me 28,000 flat (or lower) i will come and sign the papers tonite. anyways good luck man.

I just took home a fully loaded 2007 Outlander XLS with a Sales Price of $26599 (before taxes, title, etc.) and got the 1.9%APR for 48 months. Good deal right? Well, it wasn't until late last night as I was reviewing the sales & finance contracts that my "new" XLS is actually marked as a USED vehicle?!?! Odometer had 55 miles and when I inquired why so high from the Business Mgr he said it can be as high as 150 miles depending on where the car came from. Here's the thing, I never once expressed verbally or in writing that I wanted to buy a used car. I'm going to the Dealership and ask them what's going on. My first thought was that it was a typo but I see my car marked as USED on the Bill of Sale, Finance Contract and State Tax form. I'm going to demand that they explain what they mean by "Used" and why they didn't tell me this up front. I blame myself for not catching this sooner as I was focused on the $$$'s. Maybe it's an honest mistake but I'm going to ask for a Title History and I've already checked the BBB on the dealer and checked the Illinois Attorney General's office for more info. Has anyone run into this situation before and how did you handle this with dealer? Thanks in advance for your input. Razov09 |
