Hey all: Mustang has a battery light that is on until you rev to 2500 rpm's. Took to have battery checked, good but low, charged it and still problem exist. At the same time, had the alternator checked - it is perfect. I am assuming since belts are good, is it cable short or something much easier?? Replies to this message: akirby (Jun 29, 2009 6:01 pm)

Replying to: nativesaulk (Jun 29, 2009 2:32 pm) How do you know the belts are good? The fact that it varies with RPM indicates either a belt that's slipping at lower RPM or the alternator is bad. The belt is cheaper - replace it and see what happens.
