Replying to: pf_flyer (Nov 05, 2006 10:58 am) IMHO Edmunds runs the risk of killing the golden goose with their new emphasis on highly specific forum topics and the conversion of many existing topics to "read only" or simply to archive them (e.g., the R Series Volvo).   While I don't have hard proof, the number of posts seems to be going down. The forums are much less vibrant and lack the attention getting sharp discussion of a year or so ago. The silliest thing of all was to shut down for a day or so the very, very high post High End Luxury Marques board and then re-title it High End Luxury Cars and reactivate it.   Please rethink this new strategy. I think it will decrease the number of eyeballs you can deliver to your ad sponsors.
