Well this is really not new news at all. It has been know for quite while. (for me since grammar school 52 years ago) It is news in that it has been ignored in the computations and probably only now being once again acknowledged?

Don't you see the Big Three's lag in hybrid development and their consequent misplacement of product mix in general as a sign that they are out of step with developing technologies?

Now your blaming Gobal Warming on the Domestics. Holly Crap, whats next the Kennedy Assassination.

What else does the scientific community know about this, I spose I could Google it, but what does this mean for a padre living in SE Arizona working in the medical community?

OK, let's think practically for starters. Remember to wear your sun-block and use a 45 blocking formula instead of only 25-35, for better blockage. Just to sort of get this thing "moving" a little bit.

What are you talking about? GM has more Hybrid cars out than all the Foreign brands combined. Ford has the popular Escape hybrid, the new Fusion Hybrid coming out, it also has the new Ford Fiesta about to hit that gets over 40 mpg. Your just blind.

I think I am too. I was replying to the guy that said that the domestic car makers were not doing anything to put out hybrid cars. Sorry for the mishap.

President of EU says Al Gore "Apostle of Arrogance" by gagrice

A Fiery Czech Is Poised to Be the Face of Europe
Decades later, Mr. Klaus, the 67-year-old president of the Czech Republic — an iconoclast with a perfectly clipped mustache — continues to provoke strong reactions. He has blamed what he calls the misguided fight against global warming for contributing to the international financial crisis, branded Al Gore an “apostle of arrogance” for his role in that fight, and accused the European Union of acting like a Communist state.

As a former finance minister and prime minister, he is credited with presiding over the peaceful 1993 split of Czechoslovakia into two states and helping to transform the Czech Republic into one of the former Soviet bloc’s most successful economies.

But his ideas about governance are out of step with many of the European Union nations that his country will lead starting Jan. 1.

While even many of the world’s most ardent free marketeers acknowledged the need for the recent coordinated bailout of European banks, Mr. Klaus lambasted it as irresponsible protectionism. He blamed too much — rather than too little — regulation for the crisis.

A fervent critic of the environmental movement, he has called global warming a dangerous “myth,” arguing that the fight against climate change threatens economic growth.

I think I will like this guy.

My kinda guy...............at least where his views on Al Gore are concerned. You have to love the leader of any country that builds cars as well as the Czech's do, (i.e. Skoda).

So that is one of his claims to fame, the Skoda? Plus Skoda will make money in this poor year for car sales. More than you can say for any of our automakers in the USA. Sounds like we picked the wrong leaders.
