Has any one experience during cold starts (car park for over 5 hours) during fast idle the rpm stumbles for a couple of seconds follow by a strange smell (black smoke smell ) then goes back to normal fast idle. once the engine reaches proper operating temp. it seems to idle about 600 rpm and just runs normal and just once in a while it drops rpm to 500, but the most strange thing is that the check engine light does not light up for either event. I only have about 13,000 miles on the clock. i want to take it back but with out the check engine light on, i dont know if they would be able to figure it out. This is so ironic; usually people complaint when that light comes on for any reason. Here i am looking for it so i can be fix. any sugestions are welcome. |

I just bought a black '07 Sante Fe Ltd w 48k miles. It has the Hyundai Certified CPO warranty Anyone have experience with the factory wheel & tire warranty? Vehicle care (routine maintenance)? Vehicle protection(extended bumper-to-bumper)? Experiences and prices paid appreciated |

Crest hill, speed passes 70, and hits something like 75-77 before settling back down in 15-20 seconds. I'm so used to my Accord which will absolutely HOLD 70, whether it takes 2 downshifts or some engine braking; this system wears me out on trips, where I feel like I'm a nuisance to other drivers for changing speed so much. I've read other complaints about Hyundai cruise having a mind of its own with Sonata, XG350, etc, so its not specific to the Santa Fe. |
