#2 of 6 RATTLE REPAIR-SAFETY ISSUE?
by saleem59
Aug 16, 2007 (8:57 pm)
I leased uplander June 2005. My vehicle has a permanent problem of NOISE FROM LEFT FRONT. Workshops chaged the Left swab Bar Link/left front stablizer Link (Rattle Repair)3-4 times in 2 years. It has gone only 38000 km & again I am feeling the same problem. I am worried is it a safety issue too????
Now really I am fed up with this vehicle? Any body guide me what to do? I did not get the extended warrantee? What will happen after 3 years?? Another friend of mine has the same problem. Is it a manufacturing faults?? If so The company should not take the responsibilty???

was it a constant noise or just on bumps/rough roads. I am having an issue with my right front but the dealership mechanics have no idea what to do.
I got mine in July '05 - 4 yr lease.

At the start it is only at bumps but with the time, it is permananet. I talk to the dealership & they ask me " YOU HAVE TO LIVE WITH THIS NOISE " But my question "" WHY I SHOULD SUFFER DUE TO SOME MANUFACTURING FAULT???? WHEN I AM PAYING FOR THE NEW CAR, IT SHOULD WORK LIKE NEW??? ""

Hey, y'all,
I got a 2008 Uplander in early Oct--XM and OnStar but overall very low frills--I like it like that...
I've been real happy with it so far...
The radio goes bonkers every now and then but no other complaints...
I had a trailer hitch installed and the tech said he could not install the lighting plug because of the transistorized electical system being so sensitive...
Anyone else know anything about this?
