There is a different transmission in 2007, six speeds instead of five speeds. The V8 got 18 inch wheels too, where the V6 has the 17's standard. I do know that some people are having problems with the CTS and DTS. I do find it surprising that you find all V6 to have the same problem as this should not be the case. I just find a little wind noise around the drivers mirror. I'll have the dealer take care of it when i bring it in for my 6 month free synthetic oil change.
