i took mine on a road trip right after the delivery. on the trip i was getting 29.4 - 25 mpg.
right now at 6000 miles i get 23-24 in mixed city/highway....i think once i got 27, but that week was more highway than usual.
my driving style...well, i overdo the throttle sometimes, but not constantly.

Thanks for posting a reply. How long was it before you started getting decent mileage? I've only got 1000 miles now.

What kind of mileage are you getting, and how do you calculate it? I get around 30mpg on the highway, and just over 20mpg around town(03 EX V6 Sedan Auto). Anywhere close to that would be acceptable to me. Of course your driving habits, and traffic situation (a lot of stop and go) can make a big difference too.

Mileage depends on your driving route. Lots of short trips with the engine cold can result in mileage in the high teens. Don't worry too much and try to learn how the car "likes" to be driven for better mileage.

My first tank of gas was my worst. That said,
What numbers are you getting?
How are you calculating mileage?
What is your commute like?
What was your previous car, and what mileage did it return in the same conditions?

I have a 2007 Accord EXL V6 Auto and I notice that when I shift from Drive to Reverse, there is clicking noise. Is this normal? Have anyone experience this noise?
Thanks!

Accord transmissions have always been that way, from my experience. You can easily hear things moving when you shift the transmission. As long as you don't hear strange sounds while the car is in gear or rolling, it doesn't sound like their's a problem. Happy Hondaing

I am very irritated after just having my 2nd oil change and inspection on my 2007 EX. I was told that at 11,700 miles I only have 35% of brake pad left on both front and rear. Has anyone else gone through brake pads this quickly? Are Honda's pads just crap or what? I've always gotten at least 60,000 miles out of the factory pads on other cars I've had. This is going to get very expensive.
