I have the same problem, but the article you cite is not on the Web. Do you have a hard copy you can scan or email?

1995 Neon has sticky brakes by kbob

I recently had the rotors and calipers changed on the front wheels of my Neon, but the wheels still feel (intermittently) like they're engaged, even when no foot pressure is applied. Sometimes, when the brake fluid warms up, I can even smell brakes. I took it to the Firestone place (they replaced the brakes and rotors) and they said the hoses were clogging, such that the pressure on the brakes makes the fluid go only one way. They replaced the hoses, but the problem persists. Any ideas?

I recently purchased this car and if it's below 90 degrees outside, she turns over, but idles rough and no power when driving. Over 90 degrees she's a dream machine. The code came up as P2302, so I changed the coil, plugs (yes, gapped them correctly to 35), plug wires. Still got the same code, so I changed the battery, ran the alternator test--all is great. Changed the ASD relay too. The purge and ignition switch are perfect, no issues. I keep coming back up with that P2302 code after my engine light comes back on. I'm at a loss. She has no issues when it's over 90 degrees outside, starts great, no rough idle and runs super and the engine light is gone. It's just in the mornings when the temp outside is lower than 90 degrees. Any ideas??

check eng light_ tcc (torque converter clutch) by tru_blue

Recently I had a check engine light on and it was due to the wiring for the tcc which is located on the side of the trans on my 00 a/t neon lx. I removed the air box and looked to find the wires were frayed and exposed. I seperated them and re-bound them with electrical tape. the light went out for a few months but now is back on. I went to the pickapart near my house and got one connector with extra wiring and replaced it with my old one but it still will not go out. Just want to know if anyone on the forum has a similar issue, and/or has fixed it? other than that seems like the car is fine with 181k miles on it.

if you have warranty on the thing I would check to see if it is covered, otherwise it may be that you need a new cluster as a similar issue was posted on the same page further down.
