just saw your message,there is one o2 sensor that the connector is under carpet,about the middle of the van,but only if the van is a flex fuel van.that is another one as they said.

The engine warning light came on on our 2005 GC SXT here in Mexico, and they report the Emission Control needs to be replaced at a cost of about $300.00 plus labour..
 Someone else said that the vehicle will operate satisfactorily without it, and we should have it disconnected and removed, and we can replace it on our return to Canada in the spring, and that all that will happen is a slight increase in fuel consumption.
We have noticed this already during the 3 weeks we have had the van running fine, since this light appeared,.After the local Chrysler dealer did a computer check. I saw the screen when he had it connected, and it was showing a fault with the "Emissions Control".Any advice ??DougW

Should be covered by the emissions warranty (6 or 8 year warranty on the emissions system including the catalytic converter). Check your owner's manual or warranty booklet. Good luck.

what is the oxygen sensor heater failure. I had this code before and after replacing oxygen sensor. 2005 t/c 3.8

I am only guessing, that that would be a heating element built into a 3 wire O2 sensor, and doesn't apply to a 2 wire sensor. As far as you still having the code after changing the sensor: 1) DID YOU ERASE THE ERROR CODE FROM THE ECM AFTER CHANGING THE SENSOR AND BEFORE TURNING THE KEY ON? 2) Are you aware the these vehicles usually have 2 O2 Sensors on them? Maybe you changed the wrong one, or maybe they were both bad. Hope this helps.
