They also updated the ECU one time, when I said it seemed like the automatic shifted too early under light acceleration and this change also seemed to fix a problem with the A/C cutting out at idle with the brakes on. |

For fun, I checked the price of a top of the line Hyundai Sonata with Leather, moonroof, Infiniti stereo, bluetooth, fully loaded V6 is selling now for $21,529, with rebates. The comparable Grand Touring V6 is at $26,483. And of course a 3 year warranty vs. a 5 year warranty. Mazda6 sales are down 50 percent from last year, and that was with the old model that was on its way out. Mazda will have to cut their prices I think to compete in this very competitve segment. The consumers have spoken.

Mazda6 s Grand Touring: $28,390 18" alloy wheels, P235/45 R18 W-rated a/s tires, Leather-trimmed seats, Heated front seats, Dual zone automatic climate control, Bose audio system, Welcome lighting system. The 2010 Mazda6 s will give you a choice of 17 or 18 inch wheels. I honestly think that that the 17 inch tires might give you a better less bumpy ride than the 18 inch version. It may not handle as well on the racetrack, but for day to day driving, the 17s might be more comfortable. That has been my experience, anyway. Some reviews have said that the 18 inch low-profile tires give too firm of a ride, feeling every road imperfection. .. |

Hello to all: Let me say that part of the reason Mazda 6 sales are down is because Mazda cut back on production due to lessing of demand. My dealer told me just a few weeks ago that they cannot get enough cars to sell until Mazda revs up production. What I am saying now is the damand has gotten stronger, there are very few on the lot because they are now flying out the door. Also: I bought my Comet Mazda 6 last September and have had zero problems with 8400 miles on the car so far. It is very solid, no rattles, nothing wrong. The only thing was a false light telling me the tire pressure was low, but the sensor never came on again and I never checked the pressure. Just a fluke. To be quite honest, If I had to buy the car again, I would 100% do it. The 4 cyl is plenty power for around the Baltimore and surrounding areas. When increased power is needed, it really gives the power necessary. My only, and I mean only negative would be the harshness of the rides. I am told this just might be the tires, not sure. But overall, my wife and I really do love this car.

I have a feeling that those are going to be difficult to clear. It is unusual when a car company lowers the prices of the next model year, so Dealers will have their work cut out for them in terms of clearance sales. Glad to hear your experience with your new car is a good one! If the only problem you have had is with one tire pressure warning, this is very good indeed!!! |
