| I have just purchased an 09 Mazda 6 Grand Touring and have put 850 miles on it and am loving it. However, the back shelf where the speakers are rattles all the time. The dealer has ordered a new back shelf. Hopefully this will solve the problem. Everything else is tight with no rattles. Any car can develope rattles from many different sources. I hope your dealer can fix all of the rattles. | |

Replying to: ianmatic (Jul 09, 2009 5:25 am) Do any of you use the drivers door armrest? The indentation from my elbow NEVER goes away, even if I don't use it. You can't see it so much due to the thick vinyl covering but rubbing you fingers over it you definitely feel it. Does anyone have this problem too? |

There is a small indentation where I rest my elbow at times. I also must say that it really doesn't bother me. I've had my 6s GT since October and not a rattle, squeek, gurgle, or click anywhere. I am having the passenger rear door handle replaced on Tuesday from the recall. |

They did some patch up work on the console with some sealant and it seemed fine for the first couple of days, but now the rattling seems to be back. I'm at the point where I want them to change the console, but I am waiting as they scratched my stereo while removing the console so not too sure I want to go through that again. I'm also starting to have some rattling in the rear of the car, not sure if it's from the roof or from the entire plastic rear. Let us know if they actually change your centre console and if it makes a difference. |
