If I press on other parts of the lamp, the mounting seems firm as would be expected. What part of the lamp did you push on? It again is a small thing, but I am thinking that driving on roads a rattle or vibration would most likely occur maybe causing the lamp to prematurely go bad. Thanks all for your input.

Replying to: lpmiller (Nov 24, 2008 8:37 am) We also have winter gas over here, and it can decrease the mpg. A 3 mpg drop sounds pretty drastic. I forgot when it kicks in over here. My friend used to own a gas station, and he mentioned October or November. Hopefully you guys are right, and it's the formulation that's making a difference. Lpmiller, did you get rid of your Forrester and get the 6 to replace it?

Hopefully it's within acceptable tolerances so it doesn't rattle your bulb to death. For what it's worth, my other Mazda had fogs lights that also felt a bit springy and loose. I only know this because I wanted to replace one of them when it burned out. But it was too difficult, since I had to get under the car (plus I was too lazy).

It is the furthest most right hand-side of the passenger lamp, anywhere between the middle to bottom vertically. That is where most of the movement occurs when pushed. yes, it does not seem very easy to access. |
