Oh ok. Im in Milford. I might have to make a trip up there soon. I've been to a few of the dealerships in the area and I have done a good amount of research as this is the first "new" car I have been looking at purchasing. This forum and your input has been very helpful.

Thanks for posting! Did you get it in the mail or in an email? How long did it take to get it when you emailed them a second time? Sorry, I'm still waiting for the S plan certificate from WKA, so I'm getting a bit impatient.
Thanks again!

I have the Ford X-Plan. I've emailed Mazda 2 days in a row...nothing yet.

If you can get the Mazda iTouring(with the two packages) for for $23k, add the sales tax and negotiate between that price and the MSRP. Honestly I would pay no more than between $24,000 - $24,500 OTD. When your doing the calculations at home, don't worry about the dealership fees because the finance department at the dealership is gonna have to figure out a way to include those figures in the price of the car you agreed on.
If you want me to do the numbers, just tell me what state you live in and I can give you an OTD price margin to work with.

A finance person should never be left with the task of disclosing any fees associated with the purchase.
A professional sales person will disclose all fees associated with the purchase UP FRONT so when the customer goes into finance to sign paper work, the numbers are presented EXACTLY as discusses with the sales person and there are no surprises. No finance person should EVER have to worry about how to "fit" those fees into what was agreed. That is a terrible and unprofessional way to do business.

So finally I picked up my Mazda GT I4 with Luxury package on Friday. And I have to say I am very impressed. Driving at night is absolutely amazing in this car.
I can describe it in 2 sentences. If you ever had a dream car, this would be your dream car's dream car. Blue with grey leather interior is an amazing combination.

I didn't care about the fees. The only thing I cared about was the OTD price. The finance person's job is figure out a way to include to fees into the OTD price that I want to pay for.

It took 3 weeks for Mazda to send me two items: $500 Mazda Preferred Buyer's Card that expired 12/31/08 (sent via regular mail) and the Private Launch Bonus Cash (sent via email. $1000 toward the purchase of '09 Mazda6 or $500 toward other selected models.). I wouldn't be buggin' too often, i.e., sending MazdaUSA emails every day! Mazda Customer Service doesn't have anything to do with the $1000 Private Launch Bonus Cash. So, inquiring them concerning this would do you no good! Now they may be able to help you with the S-Plan and the $500 Preferred Buyer's Card. Just call 1-800-222-5500 option #6. I would only call if I was absolutely or strongly interested in purchasing a Mazda product. They are extremely nice people! Hope this helps. Mazda vehicles are awesome!!!
