In the North East, Mazda6 sales are up 14% over last year. In a down market everywhere, I see this as great news!

My husband and I checked out the ^ this weekend. He like the Grand Touring. V6 It had all the items he asked for. The dealer wanted $550.00 per month... Doesnt that sound like a big number?

I guess it depends on the terms. i.e. length of lease. I have seen $239/m for 24 months with 2100 down. But it was the i touring. Not sure if it included the two packages. $550 seems very high. You can lease a BMW 3 series for less than that.

Oh ok. Im in Milford. I might have to make a trip up there soon. I've been to a few of the dealerships in the area and I have done a good amount of research as this is the first "new" car I have been looking at purchasing. This forum and your input has been very helpful.

Thanks for posting! Did you get it in the mail or in an email? How long did it take to get it when you emailed them a second time? Sorry, I'm still waiting for the S plan certificate from WKA, so I'm getting a bit impatient.

If you can get the Mazda iTouring(with the two packages) for for $23k, add the sales tax and negotiate between that price and the MSRP. Honestly I would pay no more than between $24,000 - $24,500 OTD. When your doing the calculations at home, don't worry about the dealership fees because the finance department at the dealership is gonna have to figure out a way to include those figures in the price of the car you agreed on.
 
If you want me to do the numbers, just tell me what state you live in and I can give you an OTD price margin to work with.
