I've been cross shopping the 2006 eclipse with the tiburon. There is a board for eclipse gas milage, but not the tiburon. I'm wondering what kinds of milage people are really getting with both the v6 and the 4 cyl. Even though I looking at newer models, the tib powertrain is unchanges since 2002 (I think). Replying to: associate7 (Oct 22, 2006 12:54 pm) I owned a 2001 eclipse and currently drive a 2005 tiburon. I think they were acutally pretty close in power even though the Tibs stats don't show it. I do believe that the eclipse got significantly better gas milage, but that was the last Gen.

Replying to: associate7 (Oct 22, 2006 12:54 pm) I run from 24 to 27 depending on the amount of freeway and town driving and the speed. At 55 to 65 I get around 27 70 to 75 around 25. This is a V6 with the 6 speed.

Can anyone tell me the process to replace the back 3 plugs on my V6. I suspect that I will need the torque specs for the top part of the intake manifold.   I haven't been able to find out anything about changing the plugs. Replies to this message: pwrtsi (Dec 01, 2007 1:05 pm)

Replying to: europa_71 (Nov 26, 2007 2:11 pm) i've done it, you just tighten them the way they were i dont mess with the torque. as long as is tight you are good.
