Goof Off may work. I would try it on an inner fender area first to see if it melts the plastic but I think it will work. I have used it many times while painting and otherwise.

Yea, I'm having problems with my 2006 Chevy Cobalt. I took it to get an oil change when it read change oil soon on the screen and after that it keeps turning off on me while i'm driving and it reads engine disabled on the screen. They told me it might be my car computer, but it just started right after the oil change.#135 of 138 Brake life by imidazol97

I an in a surburban/rural area and lots of driving is interstate. I am open to hearing experience on miles on brakes from urban commute and all other types of driving.
