Goodyear TripleTred? I've read they are top-notch in comfort and quiet.

I'm about to buy tires for my 06 EX Accord and those are in the running, although I'm leaning towards the Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grid. I have the "previous model" of that tire, the G009 on my '96 Accord and like them a lot. Quiet ride, but sharper handling/riding than the stock Michelins on my '06 Accord.

I got the Goodyear Assurance Comfortreads. They are more quiet and more smooth riding than the MXV4s........But.......they don't handle as well and I lost about 1.5 mpg. 80k warranty, about 95 a tire at Discount Tire. Check out the reviews at tirerack.com to get info on any tire you plan to buy.

I just put Yokohama Avid H4s on my 2005. Seem to be plenty quiet, although I have always found the Accord to be quiet inside (only some noise on certain road surfaces, and that was probably the tires). Hated the OEM michelin rocks.

I have an '05 Accord V6 with P205R16.
Would P215 be an acceptable fit? I've come into possession of a new set of 4 of these, from a Camry.

The 215s should easily fit. They will be slightly taller, so your speedo will be a tiny bit out of shack, but I doubt that is a big enough size difference to matter much.

well, I havent driven on snow or ice yet (having only gotten them in APril!), but they are great in the wet. Tirerack also rated them pretty well in snow. And they have to be better than the slick OEMs they replaced.

If you really need snow capability, get real snow tires. No AS is gong to be close to as good.

we also don't get much snow down here, so it usually isn't a problem.

Yokohoma tire is smooth, less noise. Yokohoma AVID H or V rated tire is good. I have never driven it on snow or ice. Any suggestion for good tires with minimum noise?

Michelin Primacy MXV4? by cmartin411

I have a 2006 EXV6 with about 44K miles. I am getting ready to replace the OEM Pilots. I was going to buy the Turanza w/ Serenity, but the guy at the tire store (independent - no affiliation) recommended the Michelin Exalto A/S. I also read some good reviews on the Primacy. I think the Exalto might be more performance geared than I need, so that is why I am thinking Primacy or Turanza.

Plus, Michelin has a $70 rebate now. What is your guys' opinion of the Primacy? I have went back and read thru all of the comments about the Exalto and Turanza.

Thanks.

I have a 2001 Accord that I put Michelin Hydroedge tires on and think they are excellent!. One minor point is that they give a bit harder ride than originals.

I drive a winding mountain road from Santa Cruz to San Jose California occasionaly
and they provide excellent traction and handling in both wet and dry conditions.

I was very impressed with the traction they provide and plan on getting another set if I still have the car when these wear out. They are good for 90,000 miles.
See link for comparisons:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testDisplay.jsp?ttid=74
The biggest difference was driving on snow and ice which is not an issue where I live but if it is for you the reviews show Primacy over Hydroedge.
