I have a Mitsubishi Eclipse 2006 V6 and a friend of mine have a Evo VIII brake kit. Did somebody knows if those parts can fit the eclipse 2006 V6?

I have just purchase a 2006 Eclipse, I have notice that when it is cold outside and I start the car up after it sitting overnight or for several hours that the brakes are very hard. I called a Mitsubishi Dealer up about this and they said this is normal for Eclipse. Is this right or is something wrong.

I have a 2007 Elipse Spyder GT that had high pitched whistling front brakes when coming to a stop, only 6000 miles. Deglazed the pads per dealer instructions, but, to no avail, so, I reserched and purchased Adaptive One pads from NAPA, a different design without the tradional rivets, and a ceramic material instead of semi-metalic, this definitely did the trick for about $75.00 and about a half hour of my time, a very easy fix.

I have the same problem with 07 eclipse, bought new 07 and squealing started 6 months later. when in reverse everyone in the neighborhood knows your backing up. we get the same response from service dept. saying they can't fix it. Today i got in an arguement with the so called boss. He said everyone knows about the problem. well why didn't they disclose it when we spent $30,000 on it. I talked to the sales dept. and they said they did not know of a break problem. Thats when I decided to get my lawyer invoved today. we will be talking about the legality of not disclosing it at time of sale. I can't sell it the way it sounds. I still have warranty and they still refuse to work on it. I have never heard of such a thing. Has anybody else complained to the main office about this phantom squeal that has no way of being fixed?
