Occasionally my stereo sounds like the bass is turning off or the amp is turning off, lasts only 10 minutes or so and the returns to normal. Doent matter if it's radio or cd. Any suggestions? Loose connection somewhere or? It plays proper 80 percent of the time but sounds like no bass during the fault.

How do I take out the stock sound system accessories in a Nissan 350Z (04) by myself? Is there an instructional website that can show me how? If anyone knows of any, please tell me. Thanks!

Dumb Newbie question!
Just bought a 2007 350Z Roadster with the BOSE audio system - but without the instruction manual. Have figured out everything except what the AUDP function is! I thought that it might adjust the audio volume to match the engine noise but it doesn't seem to... what's it for?

I have 2003 Enthusiast, which means I do not have the BOSE system or the navigation system (I know, weak). Now that I am about to graduate from college, I will have the means to focus on fixing my Z up. I want to get that extra audio kick as well as a navigation system, but want to avoid changing the stock look as much as possible.
I guess what I am trying to ask is:
How/What can I buy so I get a decent audio system and navigation system while avoiding changing the stock look of the front of the stereo. Also, I'm trying to put the nav system where it would go if I had an upgraded model.
Thank you!

Have you tried taking it to an audio system specialist? They could probably figure it out.

It sounds like it may be overheating at the amp then cooling down or a bad/faulty electrical connection between the amp and subwoofer. How loud do you go with the stereo? Does it do it on cool days with low volume? Does it do it more often on hot days with high volume?
