You are in the Kia Spectra/Spectra5 Forum. Your Host is kcram
| bought an Optima for my wife. She likes hatches and the Spectra5 would have been on the short list but I didn't like the looks of the ground effects plus the comments on this board were enough to take it out of consideration. | |

Definitely a leather/heated seat option. Maybe an upscale wood-trim package....

These are the things I'd like to see in a Spectra: 1. Make the following standard: a. ABS (safety first!) b. Air conditioning (C'mon, who - unless you live at the south pole - doesn't offer air conditioning as a standard feature?) c. cruise control (Again, should ALWAYS be a standard feature!!) d. electric seats (Not totally mandatory--but would be nice!) e. For the fold-down seats, a latch to fold them down from the INSIDE of the vehicle, instead of having to use the latch from the trunk. (After all, what if it's raining cats & dogs outside and you need to get into the trunk?)

Replying to: crriley (Sep 19, 2007 8:03 pm) A/C is standard on the EX. Strangely enough, the cruise control on the 04/05 Toyota Camry is identical in appearance and in the same location in the Spectra and those Toyota owners complain about hitting knees on it. Put it in the steering wheel. Electric seats are great but the biggest improvement in the seating area is making the bottom cushion longer for better thigh support and providing more lateral support. The reason they put the latches in the trunk area is because one usually loads long objects from the rear of the car. You'll get wet anyway if it's pouring rain. A downpour usually speeds one up considerably. |

| I'd love it if Kia made a Spectra3. Just take the 5 chuck 2 doors, shorten it a bit and I'm in love. | |
