I've read here previously about a loose feel to the front end when turning. Is the problem definitely the steering column, or could it be something else? It doesn't happen evry turn either.

Hi, I got a 2002 4x4 z71 that shakes at all speeds in the front end when I hit a bump. Also my emergency brakes went out on it. Found the brakes totally worn which can't happen unless I drive it with it on, which the warning beep lets me know when I do this, or the brakes are sticking.

I have a 2002 Avalanche with the Z66 suspension and load leveling options. It is time for new shocks and I would like to find another source other than the dealer. Also, what are the electronic components of the suspension?
