I had the same "Check Airbag" occur on my CXS on the way to the dealer for an oil change. They could find nothing wrong and cleared the code. This happened about 8 weeks ago, OK since.

I AGREE WITH YOU 100% -- I have the same problem. I believe somebody screwed up in the design. Yes, the dials are very hard to see in the sun light.

Thanks.

Lets see if anyone else has the same problem. If its a design flaw then there probably isn't much to do about it.
I believe the engineers spend considerable time thinking these things through so the flaw is at least a little bit surprising especially since cost would not seem to be an issue in this case.

Oldmanusere. THere is a fix for your problem. I am a Buick dealer in New Jersey and have several customers with the same complaint. Buick has just issued a fix for the problem which requires changing the instrument cluster. any questions' email ngalebpaol.com

Poor interior ergonomics for short people. by willbodine

I am short for a man (5'6") but many women are similar or shorter. Another feature the Lucerne shares with the Cadillac DTS is overly long seat bottom cushions. I feel like "Edith-Ann" on the old SNL skit. The seats are too long for my thighs. Very hard to get comfortable on a long trip. Also, even though I drive quite far back from the steering wheel, both the door and console arm rests are too low and far back to be useful. And for a large car, I find it hard to get in and out of. I keep bumping my head on the roof and my size 10 feet get caught in the narrow door opening. Strange. The vehicle structure feels rigid on the road, but the interior panels (doors, dash and console) creak, buzz, and rattle way too much for a car aiming to be in the "near luxury" market.

I'm with you on that, I'm 6'-1", 245 pounds, and have never felt the least bit uncomfortable around town or on a road trip. ('06 CX, cloth seats)

Seats are a killer by tf712

I'm 6'3" 210lbs and these leather bucket seats are killing me in my '06 CXL. The hour and half to two hour commute one way and I'm a hurting puppy. I'm getting close to being pushed over the edge and dumping this car if I don't find a solution. That'll be a shame because I've been a loyal Buick owner (3rd generation) and I really like this car but I can only take so much. I'll try different types of cushions to see if this helps.
