I am going to sell the car and replace it with a honda accord. I am looking for a black (preferably black on black) 4 door accord. I have looked, researched and sit in and drove several cars and I think that this may be the best bet. These cars have enough room for me, my wife and 2 car seats to ride in comfort. I hate to say it, but honda appears to have a superior product. I am looking for comfort, durability, mpg. Based on the that criteria, I think the accord is best option. Again, I hate to say that, being a gm and ford truck fan my entire life.   After I read your and other posts about the lucerne seats, I looked at a few and the interior appeared to be similar to mine and after that I honestly quit looking at that car or any other gm product for that matter. Thank you for input.

Has anybody got a cure for my inability to read the instrument panel on the 2008 Lucerne in the daytime? I cannot believe that Buick has not put out a service bulletin on this problem. Surely there is a fix of some kind. Thanks for your help. Replies to this message: merckx (Jun 08, 2008 5:16 pm)

The trail of messages about this problem appeared to stop when someone asked for a service bulletin number. That is exactly what I need,. My dealer said, "Works as designed". I consider that an unacceptable response.   I love every thing else about my Lucerne. I have the 40-20-40 seats and they have been very comfortable, especially on long trips.   PLEASE, SOMEONE, POST THE SERVICE BULLETIN NUMBER HERE!!!   Thanks. I am a Buick dealer in New Jersey and have several customers with the same complaint. I just noticed that the front right hand seat back in my cxl is shorter than the drivers seat, does any one Know why?
