Replying to: giggs (Feb 09, 2007 3:06 pm) I bought a new 2007 Chrysler Sebring on November 30, 2006. I got rid of it on January 26, 2007. Got rid of that car before it needed it's first oil change. Nothing but misaligned body panels, wind noise through the doors and a dealer that was less than honest. Never got a response from DaimlerChrylser on the matter and the dealer told me he wasn't going to reengineer the car. They claim they come from the factory like this and it is "no big deal". I'm glad I was able to get out of it now and save myself all the trouble of owning it. It may look nice, but looks are very deceiving in this case.

I have had a very positive experience with my New 2007 Sebring. The car handles well, accelerates well, and is very quiet and smooth. The leather seating is very comfortable, and I have a friend who has back and tail bone problems, and the Sebring is the first car he has sat in that he doesn't need his prescription cushion to be comfortable. The car looks much more expensive than it is, and everyone I know is impressed and find it hard to believe how inexpensive the car really is. I also get better than the epa ratings on the highway! It's a new 2006 convertible Limited that was one of the last few on the local lots during the summer of 2007, and the 2008 models were already on the lots. (Chrysler didn't make a 2007 model.)   The only issue I've had is that there is a worn spot on the soft top that is about the size of a pea. The dealer's rep took a quick look at it and immediately explained that it was caused by an improper adjustment in the parts that retract. He suggested waiting until it either develops a hole (which has not yet happened) or until the warranty is about to expire. Their solution is to correct the adjustment and replace the top.   Can't beat service like that!
