Juice, I'm in the Phx area. Where you go depends on how long you are staying in one place. If you're going to be in Tucson for a couple of days, check out the San Xavier del Bac mission southwest of Tucson off 1-19 (absolutely beautiful historical mission). Also closer to Tucson are the two halves of the Saguaro National Forest. The west portion has the Desert Sonoran Museum (more at a zoo and museum combined...don't miss this one) and the Old Tucson movie studios. The east half of the NF is east and south of town but both offer fabulous scenic drives (watch for crazies on bicycles in the east half ).

All of this, unfortunately for us Subie owners, is all paved (rats!). But there are LOTS of offroads in the Phoenix and Tucson areas, if you want some easy dirt road adventures. Email me directly for more ideas

Rear Camera for 2006 b9 With Nav by anmills

Does anyone have the step by step guide to installing?
I already know that avelectronic.com has a kit, but not obvious if that automatically displays camera when reverse engaged and if the connection is to the NAV box under the driver seat, or to the screen.

Any help appreciated

Just 3 nights, 2.5 days or so, and one day is the baptism.

Our friend has been there for a few years so she should know about those places, thanks for the tips!

Rear Cargo Tray Question by morey000

I've got a 7-pass 'Beca, but will seldom use the rear 2 seats. Will the 5 passenger cargo tray fit perfectly in a 7 pass 'beca with the rear seats folded down? and completely cover the area behind the 2nd row?

I'm assuming that the 7-pass cargo tray is fits just the small area behind the 3rd row? Or did I get that wrong?

They are charing $220 for a mini camera.. That's over price I think. Kenwood (same brand as Nav and radio in B9) has something similar that Crutchfield is selling for like $200

Or your can get a wireless unit for like $100 from Walmart including a camera.

Sorry, that's all I can tell you. I never open up the dash so I can't tell you how to connect everything up..

Has anyone installed aftermarket Xenons on their B9? If so, I'd love to know the details (make, model, quality, results).

We're expecting our 7 psgr B9 any day now and that is one of the upgrades I'd like to perform.

TIA!,
Tim

OK heres the pics. Not great (from a Cell Phone 1MP camera). Should give you an idea of the SE grill installed on my B9 with the 20" wheels having some crome, the grill doesnt look bad.

grill Looks nice. Definately gives it a 'custom' look.
It would look even better without the badge, but apparently there's a mounting bracket that's visible, even if you take off the badge. could be painted black tho'.

yes there is a metal plate the exact size of the subbie badge. it is crome plated and welded to the backside of the mesh where the badge is. paiting it black would not be easy and it still would be seen. so I just left the badge on
