What stands out to me are those mesh grille inserts - very nice with that black.

I suspect those will help for larger vehicles, but not the smaller ones where the contact point is low on your Tribeca's door. I cannot quite tell if there is a factory-mounted strip low on the door panel, but if not, you may end up with dings continuing in that area. It looks nice, though.

Thanks for the compliments. I put those moldings where I'm always getting dings. From big SUVs!!!
This was my second time I've had to get ding removal and they are always high up. Seems like everyone here in South FL loves big old cars.

You should be good to go, then! I notice that trucks and (large) SUVs tend to be the door-ding culprits around here (Alaska) as well. Those of us who drive small cars are far more considerate.

Hello All,
We just purchased a new 2008 Tribeca (2/26/09) and so far are very happy. We take several road trips per year and like to have a clothes hanging rod across the rear end of the cargo area. There are what appear to be access plugs near the hatch opening in a position that would allow hanging of a rod.
Do these "pop" out? If so, what's behind them?
Thanks!
Dave

Any suggestions as to where to pick up unswitched 12 volt power in or near the center console? The existing accessory outlets have power available only when the ignition switch is on or in "accessory" positions. This is a pain.
I found the fuse that supplies the outlets but the power goes through a relay between the fuse and the outlet that interrupts power when the ignition switch is not on.
Thanks,
Dave M.
