The Lexus RX has them and that's the best selling vehicle in its class and also Lexus' best selling model. I don't like 'em either, but some folks clearly do.

I mean this is lexus, aka toyota. I'm willing to bet that less than 15% of the owners even know they have clear tail lights on it. -mike
