There is a fix coming which will require a little work inside the center stack and a little soldering, but once complete, the legal agreement upon startup as well as all lockouts will be disabled. I'm on it as soon as it's available and will post details when I can

I've been reading the owner's manual for my new G35x w/ Prem ad Nav, and it's showing that there's a display setting for the tire pressure. However, I've been through all of the menus and have not been able to find it. Is anyone else missing this setting in their car?

Yeah, this sounds scary, but I've seen the board and the solder points. The contacts are not too close together and honestly, anyone could do it. Once installed, it is only activated by holding the center Enter button on the console for 2 seconds and an audible beep will be heard. Once activated, you will no longer need to hit the Enter button when the car is started to accept the Navi legal agreement and it has other benefits. MusicBox and Navi functions, usually locked out by movement, will no longer be disabled. This means that you will be able to search and enter addresses and POIs, change system settings, as well as scroll through music entries. It can disabled at any time by again holding the Enter button for 2 seconds. I know it's a little scary to some, but KP Technologies has an awesome track record and offers a lot of nifty little toys to make our cars that much better. Their products are top notch, well tested before being released, and the service and support makes them highly recommended by those who have their products. No, I don't work for them, and quite honestly, I'm still on the fence about pulling out my navi unit and soldering things in. I'll wait for the guinea pigs who are first in line to go through this, and I'll learn from their mistakes. |

What you get is a little light on the cluster telling you that a tire is low. The light looks like a low tire with a ! in the center of it. You will not see individual pressures for each tire as in the Acura TL, and the light only comes on when a low pressure tire is detected.
