This is a good way to invalidate your warranty, IMHO.

That is one Infiniti should "borrow" from Acura. It was great seeing the pressure for each tire, and not having to "guess" which tire is causing the problem. I had many opportunities to take advantage of that feature! If only we could get it all in one car.

I've been told that there is a flashing sequence to tell you which tire is low, but never having a low pressure issue, I've never seen it first hand.
This subject came up with rotating tires at home.
When the tires are rotated, you're supposed to update the computer to tell it which sensor is where.
I know little about that and honestly don't care.
I check my tire pressure every other week or so and I have a compressor right in the corner of my garage in case something is a little low.
The light just tells me to check them right away.

Yup, it's kind of silly that they skipped that detail on the TPMS. The information isn't even available with the console in maintenance mode.

I'm pretty sure the flash sequence is:
1 = driver's front
2 = passenger front
3 = passenger rear
4 = driver's rear

But honestly I'd have to break out the manual again and re-read to be sure.

In addition to missing the tire pressure display, I am also missing some of the voice recognition commands, so I am going to stop at the dealer today for a refresher course.

Over on g35driver.com there's a forum post for the complete list of voice commands for both 07 and 08s. I've printed out a copy and keep it in the glovebox.

Need Help with Voice Recognition! by alang4

I need some help from the group.....I have a 2-week old G35x with Premium and Nav. I've setup the Alternate Command Mode of voice recognition and gone through all the setup, but I think I am missing some commands, and I need to know if anyone who has an '08 G35x has these commands available. I just need to know if this is happening only to me.

Basically, they are:

Temperature
Tune
I also don't have the Tire Monitoring selection in any of my menus.

I downloaded the user's manual, which is specific to model, year and serial number, so I am sure that I have the correct manual and I'm accessing all of the functions that ARE there. I went to the dealership last week to get help, but they are telling me that those functions are not available on my car.

So....I put it out to the group to see if you all have these functions, before I start making more fuss about this.

Of course, it doesn't minimize the incredible lust I have for this car!!

Thanks in advance,

Alan

I have the same car. In alternate command mode, those commands are not available. Review prior list messages.

Infiniti removed these commands as part of a maintenance update shortly into the 2008 production year. I went through the same confusion as you - see earlier post. Needless to say, I was a bit disappointed as have been others on this forum. The going recommendation is to file a complaint with Infiniti Consumer Affairs with the hope they will provide an update to restore them.
