I have the Yokohama YK520's which are available only at www.discounttire.com. They're on my 2005 G35x and they're fantastic in all weather, and especially wet.

How's the lateral grip on those (in the dry)?

Also pretty amazing. I just today bought a new G35x and I'm going to put those tires on the new car as well.

Do they make the Yokohamas in the right size for the front of the G35 Sport? The only others that seem to have the right size for the front and rear are the Eagle F1's. I'll check the Yokohama website.
Thanks for the input guys.

How many miles have you put on the Eagles? Decent on the road noise?

Those tires are dealer-specific, so you have to go to www.discounttire.com to find that model.

So, a few weeks ago, while driving to work on the Mass Pike, I hit a coyote. I was in the left lane doing 75 mph and he jumped over the center divider and right in front of me. I had little time to react but was able to avoid a center hit and took him out with just the front right corner of my car. Luckily, he hit low and only the lower front fascia took the brunt of the hit.
Most importantly... my daughter and I were unharmed and the car is repairable.
While in for repairs, I have a rental... the only car Enterprise had at the time... a 2007 Dodge Charger.
What a POS!!!
Granted, it's a base model and I could buy two of them for the cost of my G35, but I hate it.
It's RWD with gawd awful Goodyear Integrity tires with 20,000 miles on them. This car gets stuck in the rain, the traction control is a blinking light letting you know the wheels are spinning, the blinker is in the wrong spot, the body roll is ridiculous and it has NO power at all.
I cannot WAIT to get my G back.
I appreciate it even more now that I've been in something different for a few days.
#903 of 947 My 2007 G35x radio loses it presets

About every two weeks, after leaving the CD player on, when I switch to radio, all 18 presets are lost. The dealer replaced the radio and it happened again. This morning the display would not show and it needed to be reset for brightness. The dealer is researching this......any suggestions? the clocks do not lost time.
Battery? ALternator? Short?

If a bettery/alternator issue was causing the loss of presets, it would have other affects as well. The easiest to find would be the auto windows. When the battery is disconnected, the windows would need to be reset. If your windows roll down AND up automatically, it's most likely not an issue at the battery or alternator.
If it is a short, it would be located at the radio side.
Other than that, I'd be guessing.
Good luck with the dealer, and let us know when you find the cause.

We're a "his car - her car" family with very little crossover. On a recent trip, she took the wheel of my G-35 (somewhat reluctantly because she doesn't really love a stick). By the time we got home I had to pry her out of the driver's seat. While she openly admits to a love affair with her cute little Mazda, the passion came out on this ride. I have a feeling the next purchase is going to be an Infiniti automatic.
