S60 Touch is a lot more resource demanding than S60v3 FP1 or FP2, and because of that the N97 is actually slower and has less usable memory than what I've got now. Not good considering the E90 is two years old. The Pre and the iPhone 3GS just have loads more horsepower under their hoods compared to the N97, as does the S60 Touch based Samsung Omnia HD, surprisingly enough. I'd be more interested in the Samsung if it used the N97's UI as opposed to the same crappy "TouchWiz" setup they use on their WM phones. |

The latest version is supposed to be much less bland to drive, and it's a lot more affordable than the last one, so I have no doubt that the E will continue to walk away with the segment once again.

Neighbor, recently divorced, got herself an '09 A4 'verte 2 months ago. Last weekend, she left it out on Saturday and the rains came while she was unaware the top was down in the driveway! Well, another neighbor came to the rescue before a disaster occurred. I was out of town but recently gave her religion....in NJ, always keep the top UP when you get out. This is not L.A.!! Driver's Edge redemption points are a reward program for a Citi Plat c-card. No membership fees. If you visit Citi website for c-cards you can get all the details. Off the top of my head, you can rack up a certain amount of pts for one year (I think it's 1K-1500-ish, again apologize for lack of link). You can bank up to 5K rewards pts total at one time (1 pt = 1 dollar). Racking up pts is something like 1% from any purchase, a higher % for gas stations, grocery stores, etc. You can redeem pts for documented maintenance over, I think, 25$. They will cover everything except taxes. It does cover labor. Does not cover new tires. You can also redeem pts on purchase of new or used vehicle (5K limit remember). In addition, you can register one vehicle for odometer pts. You get pts for miles driven. Submit a voucher of service w/odometer reading & 2 birds are killed w/1 stone. I'm not trying to advert for Citi, just give some details. I'm positive one can find a free c-card w/comporable benefits in another fashion, like cash back. I have used the program to pay for maintenance on my fleet for years, including the tranny replacement on my Acura. Roughly 1500, all covered but an appx 30$ tax charge.

Replying to: circlew (Jun 20, 2009 3:33 pm) But I am busy at work, and with my home windows covered in scaffolds and protective nets, and having meetings with the foreman a couple of times a day. Being up and down like the monkey and the giraffe to inspect the works. Better going to the office or th the lab even for having rest. Regards, Jose PS: If someone of you golfers would like to watch an interview to Seve Ballesteros at his home after his recovering from a brain tumor (olygoastrocytoma, three surgeries), I could post the link. Impressive how physically and mentally fit looks Seve again. |
