Btw, any recommendation on good leather treatment? To bring back the shine and smell that is.

Zaino offers terrific leather treatments.

In addition to Zaino products, I use Griot's Garage products, for both exterior and interior. They are fantastic. They have the best assortment of superior microfiber towels anywhere. Their latest Speed Shine blue microfiber towels may very well be the softest towels on the planet.

Their cleaning and detail products are awesome.

The slight advantage I would give Zaino is with their paint protection products. They go on and off so easily and last longer than anything else out there. But, you would not go wrong with Griot's Garage products at all. Some of them are a "must have".

Decision Made!

2010 Toyota Prius.

I already called a Toyota dealership and I will soon be putting in my deposit. Hopefully I will get my car by late spring.

High Technology at not such a hefty price. Looking forward to it. The sunroof sounds like an interesting option assuming it does not cost thousands of dollars.

Nivea body milk, as for the living body skin. No joke. (Not sure however if Nivea (a German brand of cosmetics) is sold under that name in North America.)

Dewey---`good for you`----If I were mostly driving around Charleston, and put most of the miles on here, I would be right with you.....Unfortunately I put most on the Interstates, and want a comfortable drive for that....Frankly the diesel really doesn`t get enough mpg to warrant the extra cost and the fuel is generally higher, and the smell if you get just a minute amount on yourself is very poor..So I have to wait and see what comes up....Tony

My wife buys Nivea body milk though I dont think she uses it to treat leather.

My skin looks like red worn leather during winters. Maybe I should use it personally as a treatment.

I like diesels.I think driving a lot on the interstates like you do may offset the additional costs of diesel fuel. It's amazing how fuel efficient diesels are on the highways.

Smell? My MB 300D spews out some very interesting smells indeed. But today's diesels are like a bouquet of roses when compared to mine.

You should try it: the best one on all sort of (edited) fine leathers!

Tony, over here there are gloves at both diesel and gas pumps. You know, may be this is to not spoil our hands after applying Nivea to car seats leathers. A truly decadent world. No, the current diesel smell is not really that bad even crude.

Regards,
Jose
