09 G37S 6MT by snoopdawg

Hi, i recently had my 09 G37 totaled after a being rear ended and am looking to replace it. The local dealer is telling me that there aren't a lot of G37S 6MT's in stock in Florida and poking around on several dealer's websites seems to confirm this.

Since I'm looking for something specific that's not in stock, I'm prepared to pay more to my local dealer. So a couple of questions:
1) what kind of premium is reasonable if my local dealer has to obtain a car from another dealer (i.e. further than I'm willing to drive to get myself) ?
2) are the dealer incentives still available in this situation?
4) are out of state transfers possible between dealerships?
5) any gotcha's to look out for?

If there are any dealers out there with fully loaded 6MT's in stock in sunny FLA feel free to PM me I'm in Tampa Bat area but willing to travel to pretty much anywhere in FL to pick up.

Cheers!

I know you get a good idea by the name. I root for the Cowboys, my friend Jeff Cullenford roots for the Texans.....if that helps.

If taking any of the special rates, our average price on the G sedan would be $2500 higher.

If we have to hirer a trucker to bring a car in from another city or state - that cost must be passed on to the consumer (either the dealer flat out charges you or if they are making enough money they say they are doing it for "free", but nothing is free - that just means if you would have picked one off the lot it would have been cheaper).

Is Jeff in Houston, my brother lives in Ft. Worth. I may be interested in leasing a G37 sedan this month. Only looking for Jouney, Prem. and wood trim. If you like, you could e-mail me with some details. I know that Sewell just opened a dealership on the north side of Houston a few months ago. It used to be Northside Infiniti.

Will Car Tax Credit be Extended? by yourcarcoach

I want a 2010 G37. Understand they're not available until January. The Federal car tax credit ends Dec. 31. Of course. Anyone know if the tax credit will be extended into 2010? Thanks.

I recently turned down an opportunity to buy the model you are looking for. I live in Georgia, the car was in Virginia. I would have been required to pay for shipping to the Georgia dealer, then pay to ship a replacement car from the Georgia dealer to the Virginia dealer. Cars are in short supply, and a dealer will not sent another dealer a car without obtaining a replacement. The cost of this double shipment would have been $1,100.

Excluding the $1100, the price was as good as the best deals listed on this site. However, with the 2010 models about to come out, I have decided to wait for the new model year.

I got my new Infiniti from another state. The car I wanted was at Florida dealer (I am from GA as well), so instead of paying shipment fees (I was quoted ~$850) I contacted FL dealer directly, got even better deal (!), bought one way ticket and drove car back home (~600 miles). I was picked up at airport, offered a light breakfast, all papers were ready and all numbers were as we have agreed on. In about 45 min I was on my way home, made in one day!
