I recently got to run some g-timer tests on my TL with about 600 miles on it. 0-60 in 5.7 seconds (wheel spin/traction is a limiting factor) 1/4 mile in 14.2 seconds at 99 mph

I decided to trade my 06 TL for a new TL-S at a different dealer. I didn't want to sell myself. Plus I saved $2,000 in taxes. Best car I've ever owned. Not only does what was advertised, but does it in extraordinary fashion. Handles like a go-kart, accelerates without hesitation or turbo lag like other vehicles in this class, and brakes with total control. Some torque steer, but manageable. Mileage is also beyond what was expected with 30 highway and 24 city/26 average. One inital problem with TPMS in cold weather, but charging the tires with nitrogen fixed that, I recommend this for the low profile tires. Electronics have worked flawlessly, even the additional IPOD interface. The "hands free link" system provides communication without diverting attention away from enjoying the drive experience. If you don't "drive" this car, you are short changing yourself and your investment. It loves to be pushed, and returns the favor with great control and a helluva ride.
