Does anyone know the cause of this "clunk" and if so is it a serious problem? From the frequency of this problem in various other forums it sounds somewhat common. Replying to: supercrouton (Dec 12, 2008 10:42 am) I have a 2007 Yukon xl 3/4 ton with 4x4. My owner's manual advises that a loud "clunk" noise is normal when going in or out of 4 lo.
